These terms apply when you use WattCast Radio at radio.wattcast.com (“the service”), operated by WattCast.com (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
WattCast Radio is a free directory and player for live internet radio stations. We provide links to streams that are published by the broadcasters themselves. We do not host, record or modify the audio.
2. Radio content
- All programmes, music, names and logos belong to their respective broadcasters and rights holders.
- We are not responsible for what broadcasters say or play, including their adverts.
- Stations can go offline, change or stop at any time. We cannot guarantee that any station will be available.
- The service is for personal, non-commercial listening only. Do not use it to rebroadcast streams in public or commercial places.
3. Your account
- An account is optional. It lets you keep your favourite stations on all your devices.
- Please use a valid email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to contact@wattcast.com.
- We may suspend accounts that are used to misuse or attack the service.
4. Acceptable use
Please do not try to disrupt the service, access other people’s accounts, overload our systems, copy the service in bulk with automated tools, or submit false advert reports.
5. Advert reports
When you report that a station starts with an advert, it is hidden for you straight away. When several different listeners report the same station, we may hide it for everyone. We may review or reverse these decisions.
6. Availability and liability
The service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect loss or damage arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law.
7. Links to other websites
Station pages may link to broadcasters’ own websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
